Kaunas Žalgiris football player Artūras Dolžnikovas will begin his career as a legionnaire – from now on, he will play in the top Czech football league and wear the Olomouc Sigma jersey.

The negotiations that started at the end of last year for the 24-year-old forward took time, as the player still had a valid contract with Kauno Žalgiris. Ultimately, Kauno Žalgiris and the Czech team agreed on the transfer fee and other additional conditions.

Before the 2023 season, the player who moved to Kaunas from Vilnius played 64 official matches in two years with the Kauno Žalgiris jersey, during which he scored 6 goals and provided 9 assists.

A. Dolžnikovas was also constantly called up to the national Lithuanian men's football team.
