Antoine Griezmann's return to the Madrid „Atletico“ team has become official. Despite last-minute contract signing problems, the Frenchman is finally returning to his club after a two-year break, where he shone so brightly. Two years ago, A. Griezmann was acquired by „Barcelona“ for 120 million euros, but the forward did not live up to the expectations of the Catalan club. In two seasons in „La Liga“, the Frenchman representing „Barca“ scored 22 goals and made 11 assists, while in the UEFA Champions League he scored 4 goals. Now, the „Atletico“ club has simply loaned the Frenchman for 10 million euros, and after the season there will be an option to buy A. Griezmann for 40 million euros.
