Madridthe Real announced on Tuesday evening that they have exercised the buy-back option included in Alvaro Morata's contract. The 23-year-old footballer will not return to Turin's Juventus after the European Championship, and will start preparing for the new season with Real.

Real sold their academy graduate to Juventus for 20 million euros in 2014, but included the option to bring the player back within two seasons in the contract. So now Real will pay 30 million euros, but overall this player's transfer will cost them 10 million euros due to the previously received amount from UEFA Champions League winners.

There has been much talk in the media that Real will bring back the striker and sell him to one of the English clubs for a much larger sum. However, the official statement specifies that Morata will join the team for summer training, so there will be no sale.

Morata scored 27 goals in 97 matches in Turin. The Spaniard has already triumphed in the Champions League and Spanish league with Real.
