Alvaro Morata will no longer be at London's "Chelsea" - the striker, who is currently playing on loan at Madrid's "Atletico" club, will become a full-fledged player of the "rojiblancos" in 2020.
"Atletico" borrowed the 26-year-old Spaniard last winter. The agreement included a 1.5-year loan, so A. Morata will still technically belong to the "Chelsea" team for another season.
However, the clubs have already agreed that at the end of the next season his contract will be redeemed. According to unofficial data, the deal will cost Madrid's team about 50 million euros in total.
A. Morata played 17 matches and scored six goals within six months at "Atletico".
"Chelsea" acquired the striker from Madrid's "Real" in 2017. A. Morata, who cost around 70 million euros, played 72 matches and scored 24 goals for the "Blues".
