Madrid's "Atletico" finally confirmed that 26-year-old Alvaro Morata is returning to the Spanish capital and will wear their team's jersey.
The Spanish national team sniper got stuck in London's "Chelsea" ranks this season, so it was decided to part ways with one of the most expensive strikers in the world.
"Atletico" has already rented the quite experienced footballer until the summer of 2020. The Spaniard will spend this and at least one more season in the "rojiblancos" ranks.
A. Morata has played for two years in the "Atletico" academy, but he made his way to football in the largest "Atletico" opponents' camp. In 2016, the Spaniard returned to Madrid's "Real" and had a great season there.
A year later, he was purchased for about 75 million euros by "Chelsea", but his career stage in London was not successful for the player himself.
This season, A. Morata scored nine goals in 24 matches.
