After long speculation about the future of Antonio Conte, Juventus announced the coach's decision to stay in Turin for at least one more season.

The good news for the Italian club's fans came late on Monday evening through the official club's Twitter account, which stated: "2014/15: coach Antonio Conte."

Before the announcement, Italian newspapers were buzzing with conspiracy theories about the strategist's final decision and ranked possible candidates to take his place.

Conte himself did not respond to questions from journalists about his future at Juventus until the last minute. Fans of the Italian team gathered outside the strategist's apartment at the hotel before the last match of the season against Cagliari and pleaded for him not to leave the club. During the match and award ceremony, Conte also received support and encouragement to continue the work he had started in Turin.

In 2011, the former team captain and club legend took over the reins at Juventus, winning three consecutive Italian championships and setting a number of records. Among them, two stand out - in the first season, Conte's team did not suffer a single defeat, and this year the Italians managed to collect 102 points in the Serie A championship, breaking a European record.

Conte's contract with Juventus is valid until the summer of 2015. It remains unclear whether A. Conte will agree to sign a new contract.
