The Brazilian club "Corinthians" officially announced on Thursday evening that they have acquired the forward Alexandre Pato from the "Milan" club.

Rumors about the possible transfer of the 23-year-old footballer to his homeland have been circulating for several weeks, and in recent days reports have emerged that everything has been agreed upon.

Pato's career at "Milan" did not go as planned, as the player was plagued by injuries and never quite managed to demonstrate his full potential.

The forward signed a four-year contract with "Corinthians," with the player costing the club around 15 million euros. Pato will wear the jersey with number seven.

As a Brazilian, Pato represented "Milan" from 2007. In almost six years, he played 150 matches and scored 63 goals.
