London's "Arsenal" announced the acquisition of 19-year-old Brazilian Marquinhos from the "Sao Paulo" team. The winger played 33 matches in his former team and also represented the Brazilian U-17 national team. "We are delighted to have completed this transfer, as Marquinhos was a player we have been monitoring for some time," said Arsenal's technical director Edu to the club's website. "He is still very young, so he is a player for the future. We look forward to Marquinhos joining us, settling into his new home, and continuing to grow and develop with us." Marquinhos played 17 matches last season, scoring 3 goals and providing 1 assist.
