London's "Arsenal" finally announced the acquisition of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang after a long wait. It is reported that the former attacking leader of Dortmund's "Borussia" has signed a long-term contract with the "Gunners".
The duration of the contract is not yet disclosed, however, according to many media reports, the Gabon national team star should stay in England with Arsenal at least until the summer of 2021.
It is also officially stated that a record club transfer fee was paid for Aubameyang, which should be around 60 million pounds sterling.
With such money, Arsenal agreed to part ways with a great sniper who played in Germany. In the ranks of Borussia, he contributed to 172 goals in 213 matches. This means that the 28-year-old footballer averages a goal or an assist every 96 minutes.
Aubameyang became the third new signing for the Gunners during this transfer window - earlier the team acquired PAS Giannina's defender Konstantinos Mavropanos, and Alexis Sanchez was exchanged for Henrikh Mkhitaryan. The latter played together with Auba at BvB.
