Official: "Arsenal" will sign S. Kolašinac

London's "Arsenal" announced that they officially signed left-back Sead Kolasinac as the transfer window opened.

The 23-year-old Bosnian has been playing his entire career so far for "Schalke" in Gelsenkirchen, but decided to seek new opportunities after his current contract expired.

Despite playing on the left side, Kolasinac is known for his physical strength and has even earned a few nicknames related to that. One of them, for example, is "Bosnian Hulk."

Sometimes, the Bosnian national team member also plays in the left-back position, so this season he scored three goals and provided five assists in over 25 Bundesliga matches.

It is expected that he will fit well into the new Arsenal system, in which coach Arsène Wenger decided to play with three center-backs, allowing full-backs to contribute more to the attacks.

His transfer likely means that Arsenal will say goodbye to the dominant Kieran Gibbs from Newcastle United. On the other hand, it may not happen if Nacho Monreal permanently moves to the center.
