London's "Arsenal" has announced that they have reached an agreement to acquire Hiroshima's "Sanfrecce" forward Takuma Asano.
The 21-year-old footballer will still have to undergo a medical examination and finalize the formalities, but the transfer will definitely happen.
He made an appearance in last year's World Club Cup, where he scored a goal and provided an assist in four matches.
"Takuma is a very talented young striker whose future looks promising. His career start in Japan was impressive and we hope that he will continue to improve in the coming years," said Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger.
Asano is expected to play in this summer's Olympic Games. In addition, he was crowned the best newcomer in the Japan Championship in 2015.
