After a devastating loss to Fulham, Aston Villa's management has run out of patience.
An official club statement announces that head coach Steven Gerrard will no longer train the team:
"We would like to thank Steven for his hard work and dedication, and wish him success in the future."
According to BBC, names such as Mauricio Pochettino, Unai Emery, Mick Beale, Thomas Tuchel, Thomas Frank, and Sean Dyche are among the candidates to become the next Villa manager.
This season, Aston Villa has been showing exceptionally poor form. The Birmingham club has only won two out of 11 games in the Premier League and currently sits in seventeenth place.
