Forward Mario Mandžukić of the Croatian national team has officially become a member of the Spanish champions Madrid's "Atletico" club.
The footballer has left the Munich team "Bayern", where he spent the last two seasons, and will now wear the jersey of the team led by Diego Simeone.
In the Spanish capital, the Croatian will replace the departed striker Diego Costa from London's "Chelsea", who was the attacking leader of "Atleti" players last season.
M.Mandžukić had to reconsider his future in Munich due to the arrival of a new striker. Pep Guardiola attracted former Dortmund player of "Borussia" team Robert Lewandowski to the "Bayern" team.
It is reported that the "Atletico" club transferred about 22 million euros to the "Bayern" account.
Last season, the Croatian scored 25 goals in all competitions for "Bayern" and won the Bundesliga and the German cup tournaments with the team, while in the previous season M.Mandžukić had the honor to triumph in the UEFA Champions League.
