The Lithuanian legion in Edinburgh club was joined by two more players from the "A league" leaders FBK - the 21-year-old guard and 27-year-old forward officially became the sixth and seventh players from Lithuania in the team coached by Valdas Ivanauskas, who had already debuted in reserve team matches against "Falkirk".

As usual in the relationship between both clubs, "Hearts" managed by businessman from Kaunas Vladimiras Romanovas were supplemented with football players for one-year loan agreements. The Scottish club had already officially loaned defenders Nerijus Barasa, safeties Deividas Česnauskis, Saulius Mikoliūnas, Marius Žaliūkas, and forward Edgaras Jankauskas.

M. Žaliūkas, who transferred to "Hearts" a couple of weeks ago, along with K. Ivaškevičius, A. Velička, and a few other "Kaunas" players, had already participated in the Edinburgh team's trial and played a friendly match against "Osasuna". In that match, "Hearts" won 2-0, and the first goal was scored by A. Velička with a great shot.

The 27-year-old A. Velička scored 14 goals in the Lithuanian championship this season and was unmatched by this indicator, while K. Ivaškevičius, who scored 7 times, was one of the most productive among safety players. The goals of both players helped "Kaunas" to achieve their 21st victory out of 24 possible in the championship and be 18 points ahead of the defending champions Panevėžio "Ekrano".

"Both players have already signed contracts, and we know quite a lot about A. Velička anyway, because in recent weeks he has trained with us several times. Ivaškevičius trained yesterday, and now we are waiting for both guys to be able to play," said the assistant coach of the Scottish team John McGlynn to the newspaper "Evening News".

These are not the only news in the Edinburgh club - the Scottish youth national team forward Calum Elliot left the team and was loaned to "Motherwell" for a year, while the impressive 18-year-old guard Andrew Driver, who scored a goal in his debut season match against "Inverness CT", signed a new five-year contract with "Hearts".
