Unsuccessfully starting the season in the English Premier League, West Bromwich Albion team received reinforcements. The club announced on Tuesday that experienced defender Branislav Ivanovic has joined the team, signing a one-year contract. The 36-year-old Serb has recently played for the Zenit team in St. Petersburg, where he moved from Chelsea in London. "I want new challenges and I am ready for them. I am extremely happy that I can return to the Premier League. I hope to succeed in this club. I am still ambitious and have something to prove. I will give my all for this team," B. Ivanovic said after signing the contract. From 2008 to 2017, the Serb played 261 matches for Chelsea in the Premier League, scoring 22 goals.
