Today, the new workplace of the ousted manager Brendan Rodgers from "Liverpool" became clear. The specialist from Northern Ireland will now train Glasgow "Celtic".
The 43-year-old coach signed a 12-month contract.
This season, the club once again triumphed in the Scottish championship, but stumbled in the semi-finals of both cup competitions, and did not achieve any victories in the group stage of the UEFA Europa League.
This prompted former "Celtic" manager Ronny Deila to step down.
Throughout his career, Rodgers has coached "Watford," "Reading," "Swansea," and the mentioned Merseyside club. With him, the Northern Irishman was just a step away from the Premier League title in 2014.
In an interview with the official club website, the manager noted that he will strive to perform well in Europe with the new team.
