Official: "Barcelona" acquires P. Alcacer for 30 million euros.

"Barcelona" and "Valencia" football teams made a player swap in the summer transfer market. However, not under the same conditions.

On Tuesday afternoon, the Catalan club announced a successful negotiation with the "Bats" for the acquisition of striker Paco Alcacer.

The Spanish champions will pay 30 million euros for the 23-year-old player, who is celebrating his birthday today. Another 2 million euros could be added to "Valencia's" budget depending on the player's personal achievements and his new team's results.

With "Barcelona," P. Alcacer will sign a five-year contract, which will also specify the striker's release clause - 100 million euros.

Since 2010, representing Valencia with a one-season break, P. Alcacer has played a total of 146 official matches, scoring 43 goals and providing 16 assists.

"Barcelona" will hold a presentation ceremony for the newcomer next week, when the striker returns from the national team camp.

On Tuesday, it was also revealed that "Barcelona's" youth academy graduate Munir El Haddadi will continue his career at "Valencia."

Although the transfers of P. Alcacer and M. El Haddadi are not directly related, Valencia did not agree to part ways with their attacking leader until they received assurance from the Catalans about the young Spaniard's willingness to join their team.

Twenty-year-old M. El Haddadi will be loaned to Valencia until the end of the 2016-2017 season. Next summer, the "Bats" will have the option to purchase the striker's contract for 12 million euros, while "Barcelona" retains the right to receive a certain amount from any possible future player transfer deal.
