On Friday, Antoine Griezmann's transfer saga came to an end - "Barcelona" officially announced the acquisition of the footballer.
The Catalan team paid 120 million euros as a buyout clause to Madrid's "Atletico" club, and the 28-year-old striker himself signed a five-year contract with "Barca."
"Barcelona" immediately protected themselves from possible future A. Griezmann buyers - the striker's buyout clause will reach up to 800 million euros.
The Frenchman was linked with the Catalonia team last summer, but a documentary film was created at that time in which the footballer announced his decision to stay with "Atletico."
A. Griezmann played for the Madrid team since 2014 and in total played 257 matches, scoring 133 goals.
