"Barcelona" has confirmed on their official website that Kevin-Prince Boateng has become the latest signing for the team.
The Catalans finalized the deal with the 31-year-old forward in just one day. Rumors started spreading this afternoon that K-P. Boateng was just one step away from moving to "Barça". Without even a day passing, the African has already shaken hands with the Spanish champions.
K-P. Boateng will be in Barcelona until the end of the season. "Barcelona" will have the option to acquire all rights to the player for 8 million euros at the end of the season.
"Barça" has been looking for a player who could become Luis Suarez's backup for the entire last month. Just in that role will be the player still owned by the "Sassuolo" team this season.
For K-P. Boateng, this will be the tenth club in his career. Previously, he has had the honor to wear the jerseys of "Hertha", "Tottenham", "Borussia", "Portsmouth", "Milan", "Schalke", "Las Palmas", "Eintracht", and finally, "Sassuolo" teams.
Having played across almost all of Europe, K-P. Boateng has scored five goals in 15 matches this season.
