The information published in several Catalan newspapers on Wednesday morning confirmed that defender Maxwell's career is heading to France.
It is stated that the Brazilian is being lured by a club that does not hide its big ambitions.
Indirectly, controversial agent Mino Raiola, known for his provocative statements, hinted that his client might leave the Spanish champions.
"Maxwell has many opportunities to leave. Barcelona knows this and it's not a secret. I represent the player's interests and in case he decides to leave, you will know the reason," said the Italian to journalists from RAC1 radio station.
On Wednesday evening, Barcelona officially announced that an agreement with Paris Saint Germain team regarding Maxwell has been reached, and the player is allowed to travel to Paris, where the future team's doctors will examine the Brazilian's health.
