The Catalonia club has officially announced that they have successfully completed negotiations with Sergi Roberto regarding a new contract. The footballer will sign it in the near future.
According to a statement from Barcelona, the Catalan's contract, which was valid until the summer of 2015, has been extended by mutual agreement for an additional four seasons, until June 30, 2019.
The buyout clause for the new S. Roberto is 30 million euros. Depending on the player's personal performance indicators, it can rise to 40 million euros.
The 22-year-old footballer has been a member of the main Barcelona team since the beginning of the 2012-2013 season and has played a total of 40 official matches. He has scored 2 goals.
