Today it was officially announced that the "Barcelona" team acquired French national team defender Samuel Umtiti.
Umtiti is moving to Catalonia from the "Lyon" club, and "Barca" did not hesitate to spend 25 million euros on this defender. The 22-year-old player has only played for the "Lyon" club so far, where he has played a total of 170 matches and scored 5 goals.
This summer Umtiti represented his country in the European Championship, where he played three matches - in the quarterfinals, semifinals, and finals.
Officially presented at the "Barcelona" club, Umtiti will be presented on Friday.
