After facing injuries in defense, "Barcelona" has already found a player who will strengthen this position in the winter.
Catalans announced on their official website that they reached an agreement with "Valencia" for the loan of Jeison Murillo until the end of the season. In the summer, "Barca" will be able to buy out the defender's contract for 25 million euros.
The 26-year-old Colombian national team defender has spent the last two seasons with "Valencia." Unfortunately, he hasn't been able to shine much due to injuries, playing only 20 matches.
J. Murillo has previously played for teams such as Milan's "Inter," "Las Palmas," "Cadiz," and "Granada."
The defender visited the "Barcelona" training center today, but officially he will join the team when the January transfer window opens.
The Colombian will be presented to the media on December 27.
"Barcelona" is currently playing without Samuel Umtiti and Thomas Vermaelen.
