"Bayern" Munich's official website announced that they have reached an agreement with Bremen's "Werder" winger Serge Gnabry. The 21-year-old German had been part of London's "Arsenal" club from 2011 until last summer, but returned to Germany this season and played for "Werder." Rumors had circulated last summer that "Bayern" was interested in acquiring S. Gnabry, but the player decided to play in a lower league for a year. Nonetheless, this decision bore fruit - after a fantastic season, the player received a three-year contract from "Bayern." After signing the agreement, which will come into effect on July 1st, S. Gnabry said: "It's a great honor for me to join Bayern. I am looking forward to an exciting period ahead." Last season, S. Gnabry scored 11 goals in 27 matches for "Werder." "Bayern" has already welcomed three new signings this summer - previously, the team was reinforced by Sebastian Rudy and Niklas Sule from "Hoffenheim."
