"Bayern" club has announced that they have reached an agreement with Madrid's "Real" team's midfielder Xabi Alonso. The champions of Bundesliga were actively looking for a new player in the defensive midfield as injuries affected Javi Martínez, Bastian Schweinsteiger, and Thiago Alcântara. Veteran X. Alonso had extended his contract with the "Real" club until 2016, but lost his place in the lineup - coach Carlo Ancelotti decided to rely on Toni Kroos, Luka Modrić, and James Rodríguez. Alonso started his sports career in the "Real Sociedad" team, later represented "Eibar" and "Liverpool" clubs. Alonso played over 200 matches for the "Real" team.
