Paco Alcacer's career at Barcelona club is over - Dortmund's Borussia bought out the striker's contract and he will not return to the Catalan capital after the season.
The 25-year-old "Yellow-Blacks" player was borrowed in the summer with an option to acquire all rights to him for 30 million euros after the season. After a great start to the season by P. Alcacer, BVB decided not to wait until summer - on Friday, the player's contract was officially bought out.
He signed a five-year contract with Borussia and will remain with the club at least until 2023.
"He is a true striker who has shown his mastery in very important matches. We look forward to many more goals from this player," - said BVB director Michael Zorc after signing the contract.
P. Alcacer has scored nine goals in eight matches for BVB.
He spent two years at Barcelona club and played 50 matches there.
