he Dortmund "Borussia" club won the battle against the "Liverpool" club for Shakhtar Donetsk's defender Henrikh Mkhitaryan.

Jurgen Klopp's German team found a replacement for the team leader Mario Gotze, who left for Bayern Munich.

It was rumored that the Armenian also had interest from the English "Liverpool" club, so the race for this player's signature took place between these two clubs.

According to unofficial information, Borussia Dortmund will pay around 25 million euros for the Ukrainian player.

This summer, J. Klopp has already attracted Saint-Etienne striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (13 million euros) and Werder defender Sokratis Papastathopoulos (9.5 million euros) to the team.

Mkhitaryan began playing for Shakhtar Donetsk at the age of 10 when he transferred from the same city's team "Metalurh" for almost 6 million euros.
