"Bournemouth" officially announced on their website that they have reached an agreement with England national team veteran Jermain Defoe. The 34-year-old striker has worn the "Sunderland" jersey for the past two and a half seasons, but the "Black Cats" were relegated from the Premier League, and the footballer's contract with the team expired this summer. "Bournemouth" didn't miss the chance to bring in the experienced Englishman and signed a three-year contract with him, valid until 2020. "I am very happy to return here and I am looking forward to this challenge," said J. Defoe. "As soon as I heard that there was a possibility to come back here, I didn't even hesitate. It was an easy decision - to join a great team with top-class coach and players." At the beginning of his career, J. Defoe spent a season on loan at "Bournemouth" and scored 19 goals in 31 matches. Last season, J. Defoe, who played against the Lithuanian national team and scored a goal, scored 15 goals in 37 matches in the Premier League.
