This summer, Claudio Marchisio, who terminated his contract with Turin's "Juventus," has found a new club - the experienced Italian will now play in Russia.
The 32-year-old midfielder has joined hands with the St. Petersburg "Zenit" club. Both parties signed a two-year contract, valid until 2020.
C. Marchisio, apart from spending one year on loan at "Empoli," has played his entire career within the ranks of "Juventus."
Throughout his career, the Italian has played a total of 418 matches and scored 37 goals.
"Zenit" currently holds the first position in the Russian top division after the first few rounds.
Benvenuto, Claudio
