36-year-old Claudio Pizarro decided to end his football career - the striker signed a one-year contract with Bremen's "Werder".
This summer, the experienced football player said goodbye to Munich's "Bayern". The "Werder" club will be well known to C.Pizarro, who wore the team's jersey in the periods of 1999-2001 and 2008-2012.
In total, the striker has played as many as 220 matches and scored 126 goals for the "Werder" club.
After returning to Bremen, C.Pizarro said: "I'm glad to be here again. This is a very challenging task, but I hope that with my experience I can contribute to the team's results."
Last season, C.Pizarro appeared on the field 17 times and scored one goal.
