Less than four months after being fired by "Leicester City", Claudio Ranieri has found a new job - he will become the coach of "Nantes".
The Italian, who led last year's "Premier" league-winning "Foxes", was dismissed because the team was only fighting for survival this season, but the French club has entrusted him with a two-year contract.
The 65-year-old specialist was linked with other English teams such as London's "Crystal Palace" and "Watford", but ultimately decided to move to the "Ligue 1" championship.
Ranieri will replace Sergio Conceicao at "Nantes", who recently became the coach of "Porto".
Former "Leicester" manager will not be a newcomer in France - previously, he spent two seasons coaching "Monaco". In his first year, the team was promoted to the top division, and the next season they finished in second place in "Ligue 1".
✔️ @FCNantes is delighted to announce that Claudio Ranieri will be our coach for the next 2 years. #BenvenutoMister
