In the main lineup of "Barcelona" not fitting Cristian Tello for the second season in a row will wear the jerseys of the "Fiorentina" team playing in the elite division of Italy.
The Catalan club officially announced on Tuesday that they have reached an agreement with the Florence team for the loan of the 25-year-old forward until the end of the 2016-2017 season. Next summer, "Fiorentina" will have the right to buy the player's contract.
Although no participant in the deal has provided official numbers, the Catalan sports media write that "Barcelona" has included several additional points in the loan agreement, according to which the Italian team will have to pay compensation if C. Tello does not play the required number of matches.
For the "Fiorentina" club, the player's loan will cost 500 thousand euros, but in case C. Tello appears on the field in less than 70 percent of all season matches, "Barcelona" will additionally receive 1 million euros. If the striker plays in less than 60 percent of the matches, the Catalans will receive 2 million euros, and in case of playing less than half of all games, "Barcelona's" budget will be supplemented by three million euros.
In the summer of 2017, "Fiorentina" will be able to buy the player's contract for 7.5 million euros.
In 2011, C. Tello, who was transferred to the main "Barcelona" team from the youth academy, played a total of 33 matches and scored 8 goals for the Catalan team.
