„Newcastle“ club strengthened its attacking line approaching the upcoming „Premier“ league season. On Monday, it was officially announced that longtime „Bournemouth“ team forward Callum Wilson joined the „Magpies“. „Newcastle“ paid about 20 million pounds for the 28-year-old Englishman, and the player himself signed a four-year contract. „I was very happy when I found out that „Newcastle“ was interested in me. It is a club with a great history,“ said C. Wilson. The forward played for „Bournemouth“ since 2014 and during this time he played 187 matches, scoring 67 goals.
