Official: C.Bravo Heading to " Barcelona" Goal

"Chile national team and San Sebastian's "Real Sociedad" goalkeeper Claudio Bravo will wear "Barcelona" colors for the next four seasons.

This was revealed on Wednesday when the Catalonia club officially announced that they had concluded negotiations with the Basques for the acquisition of the 31-year-old footballer.

According to unofficial data, "Barcelona" will pay around 12 million euros for C. Bravo. The goalkeeper could have cost less, but "Barcelona" midfielder Jonathan Dos Santos refused to be part of the deal and did not want to move to "Real Sociedad".

The Chilean will sign a four-year contract with the Catalonia club, valid until June 30, 2018.

C. Bravo became the second goalkeeper acquired by "Barcelona" this summer.

At the end of May, German Marc-Andre ter Stegen signed a five-year contract with the club. The Catalans bought him for 12 million euros from the "Borussia" team in Monchengladbach.

The changes in "Barca's" goal are not accidental.

Long-time team goalkeeper Victor Valdes had refused to extend his contract with the club earlier, and his former backup Jose Manuel Pinto's contract expired this summer. The club decided not to offer an extension to the 38-year-old veteran who played half a season with the Catalonia team.

The third team's goalkeeper will also change. Oier Olazabal, who was the backup until now, is now looking for a new club, and 25-year-old Jordi Masip has already been promoted from the "Barcelona B" youth team to the main team.
