London's "Chelsea" announced that they have extended their contract with their captain John Terry for another season.
For a long time, it was rumored that the 35-year-old veteran would leave the club. In fact, a new contract was not offered to him, and the player himself had already organized his farewell with the "aristocrats".
However, with the team's reins passing to new coach Antonio Conte, Terry has decided to give himself another chance.
The Englishman is a record holder of "Chelsea" - during his career wearing the club's jerseys, he played a total of 483 matches.
In second place on this list is Frank Lampard, who Terry surpasses by more than 50 games.
