London's "Chelsea" team officially announced that they have decided to part ways with the team's head coach Antonio Conte.
"We want to announce that the 'Blues' and the strategist have parted ways.
During Conte's tenure, we won the sixth league champions title and the eighth FA Cup. In a triumphant season, we won 30 times out of 38 Premier League matches, as well as achieved a record-breaking thirteen consecutive wins in the championship.
We wish A. Conte success in the future", - the team's statement reads.
However, both parties have not yet agreed on the compensation amount and the dispute may continue - Conte is demanding 9 million pounds sterling.
It is believed that the vacant position will be taken over by former "Napoli" strategist Maurizio Sarri.
In 2016, the coach arrived in England and in his first year at the club managed to triumph in the English Championship, and last year won the FA Cup. However, in the Premier League last season, they finished in fifth place, meaning that next season the "Blues" will be without the Champions League.
Leading the "Chelsea" team, A. Conte led the team into battle in a total of 106 official matches and achieved 69 victories, played to a draw 17 times, and suffered 20 losses.
