Madrid's "Real" officially announced on Monday during a grand ceremony that they have extended the contract with the club's leader Cristiano Ronaldo.
The current striker's contract would have been valid until mid-2018, but the new agreement will allow the Portuguese to stay with the team in the Spanish capital almost until the end of his career - until 2021.
It is worth noting that "Real" recently extended cooperation with other club stars - Gareth Bale and Toni Kroos.
This season, 31-year-old C.Ronaldo scored 5 goals in eight "La Liga" matches.
In the past, the striker has played for "Man Utd" and "Sporting" teams.
