London's "Crystal Palace" shook hands with the free agent Max Meyer this summer.
The 22-year-old midfielder previously wore the jerseys of the "Schalke" team from Gelsenkirchen until last season. M. Meyer was considered one of the biggest football talents in Germany for a while, but recently his form has declined, and the player also refused to extend his contract with "Schalke."
"Crystal Palace" signed a three-year contract with the German.
"I'm proud to be here because this is a step forward in my career. I can't wait to start training with the team. I hope we have a great season," M. Meyer said in his first interview.
M. Meyer made his debut in the main "Schalke" team back in 2013. Since then, the German has played 192 matches and scored 22 goals.
