D. Ceballos, recognized as the best European youth player under 21, was chased this summer by the biggest European clubs, but the Spaniard chose "Real" and will wear the "White" team's jersey next season.
One of Spain's most promising midfielders will cost "Real" only a modest 18 million euros. The player's contract included a 15 million euro buyout clause, but the UEFA Champions League winners added three million more for the Andalusians.
D. Ceballos himself signed a six-year contract with "Real" and will be presented at the "Santiago Bernabeu" stadium on July 20th.
D. Ceballos spent his entire career at "Real Betis". The 20-year-old made his debut in the main eleven in 2014 and has since played 72 matches.
Last season, the midfielder scored two goals and provided as many assists in 31 matches for the team from Sevilla.
This summer, "Real" spent 44 million euros on new acquisitions - in addition to D. Ceballos, the team also strengthened with Theo Hernandez.
