On Tuesday, Madrid's „Atletico“ club officially announced that they terminated the contract with striker Diego Costa. The portal „Goal“ reported a few days ago that the 32-year-old Spaniard asked to terminate his agreement with the Madrid club earlier than planned, citing personal reasons. The club granted the player's wish, and the contract that was supposed to end next summer was terminated ahead of schedule. D. Costa returned to „Atletico“ in 2018, when he moved from London's „Chelsea“ team to Spain. According to the portal „Goal“, the Spaniard may return to the „Premier“ league, as several English clubs, including London's „Arsenal“, are interested in his services.
