Chelsea veteran Didier Drogba has signed a contract with Montreal Impact.
The representative of Ivory Coast, who is playing in the North American Championship, has signed a one and a half year contract.
"It is a great honor for me to welcome Drogba to Impact," said president Joey Saputo to the team's official website.
"I feel that he really wants to play in Montreal already during our first conversation. This is one of the greatest days in the club's history and his arrival will be beneficial in all aspects."
