Official: D. Fletcher moves to "West Brom"

"West Bromwich Albion" acquired "Manchester United" midfielder Darren Fletcher. The Scot signed a two-and-a-half-year contract. There had been negotiations for a long time for the player to move to London's "West Ham", but an agreement could not be reached, so the new "West Brom" strategist Tony Pulis took advantage of it. The 31-year-old footballer played 342 matches throughout his career in the ranks of the "Red Devils", and at the beginning of this season he was appointed as vice-captain. However, when Michael Carrick recovered from his injury, Fletcher became only the third choice for captain duties and started in the starting lineup for only four "Premier League" matches.
