On the last day of player transfers in the Premier League, London's "Arsenal" acquired another defender - David Luiz from the "Chelsea" team.
The 32-year-old Brazilian signed a two-year contract with the "Gunners", and "Chelsea" received approximately 8 million pounds for the center-back.
"Arsenal" manager Unai Emery was pleased with the new addition to the team and stated that he will strengthen the team's defensive line.
"David has a lot of experience and I am really looking forward to him joining us. He is a well-known player who will strengthen our defensive line," Emery said about the new acquisition.
Last season, D. Luiz played 50 matches for "Chelsea" and scored 3 goals.
