„Valencia“ announced that they have extended the contract with the team's captain Daniel Parejo.
The 26-year-old footballer will represent the owners of the „Mestalla“ stadium until 2020 according to the new agreement.
Parejo, who scored 12 goals this season, was the most productive player in the team in „La Liga“ and helped them secure fourth place.
„This is one of the happiest days of my life. This is exactly what I wanted. Everyone knew it, and I was confident that we would reach an agreement“, the midfielder told the official website.
The product of Madrid's „Real“ academy has played a total of 149 matches for „Valencia“ since 2011.
