London's Arsenal and Barcelona have finally reached an agreement on the loan deal for Denis Suarez.
The 25-year-old footballer has already arrived in London and signed a short-term contract. Before leaving Barcelona, D. Suarez also signed a new contract with Barca.
The new contract does not mean that Barcelona still has hopes for Suarez - Arsenal will have the opportunity to buy his contract after the season. It is believed that the amount will be around 20-25 million euros.
D. Suarez joined Barcelona in 2016. The versatile midfielder did not become a starter - in 2.5 years he managed to play 71 matches and score eight goals.
Unai Emery, who has worked with Suarez before, said: "We are happy that Denis is joining us. I know him well, as we worked together in Sevilla. He will strengthen our team and give us more options in attack."
Before joining Barcelona, D. Suarez also played for the youth teams of Villarreal, Sevilla, Barcelona B, and Man City.
