The Madrid's "Real" club announced on Tuesday night on their official website that they have reached an agreement with "Porto" for the acquisition of right-back defender Danilo.
According to the official statement, the 23-year-old footballer will finish the season in Portugal, and on June 30, he will officially become a player of the "white" team.
The Brazilian, who will sign a four-year contract with the UEFA Champions League winners, will cost the "Real" team 25 million euros. If the footballer in Madrid manages to demonstrate excellent sporting form and win titles, then the amount could increase up to 31.5 million euros.
Danilo has been playing for "Porto" since 2012. This season, the Brazilian, who can play in the right-back position, scored four goals and made the same number of assists in 32 matches played.
It is almost certain that after this deal, Alvaro Arbeloa will leave Madrid, and Danilo will compete with Daniel Carvajal for a place in the starting lineup.
