Official: Disappointing M. Caldara returns to "Atalanta" from "Milan"

"Milan" has reduced the number of defenders in their ranks.

"Rossoneri" have met to send back 25-year-old center-back Mattia Caldara to "Atalanta" on an 18-month loan agreement. The Bergamo team will have the right to acquire all rights for 15 million euros in the summer of 2021.

M. Caldara joined "Milan" in the summer of 2018, but played only two matches over the course of a year and a half - one in the Italian Cup and the other in the Europa League.

The Italian couldn't shine in the "rossoneri" team due to constant injuries.

Before moving to "Milan," he played 34 matches and scored three goals for Atalanta in the 2017-18 season.
