"Milan" announced on their official website that goalkeeper Diego Lopez, who has successfully passed a medical examination, will now represent the team "Rossoneri".
The goalkeeper, who lost his place at Madrid's "Real" club, signed a four-year contract with the Italian club. It is believed that the "Rossoneri" will pay around 3 million euros for the 32-year-old player.
D.Lopez returned to "Real" in the winter of 2013, when he replaced the injured Iker Casillas in goal. However, in the last season, the Spaniard outperformed his compatriot and became Carlo Ancelotti's top choice.
This summer, the ranks of the UEFA Champions League winners were joined by the shining star of the World Cup, Keylor Navas, so at least one goalkeeper had to say goodbye.
In total, D.Lopez played 62 matches for the royal club and won two titles.
