The Paris Saint Germain team successfully concluded negotiations with the forward Edinson Cavani regarding the extension of his contract.
It was officially announced that the Ligue 1 champions signed a new agreement valid until mid-2020.
This season, the Uruguayan, who scored 44 goals in 43 matches, said:
"As I always emphasized, my goal was to continue playing at the Paris club - its fans and other members do not in vain guarantee the name of one of the best teams on the planet.

PSG owner Nasseras Al-Khelaifi stated: "At the moment, he is the best forward in the world and belongs to the elite group of players in this position in Europe."
