Official: E. Džeko loaned to "Roma" club

On Wednesday evening, "Manchester City" and "Roma" announced on their official websites that 29-year-old forward Edin Dzeko is moving to the Italian capital on a season-long loan.

Dzeko has been linked with "Roma" since the beginning of the summer. In Italy, E. Dzeko will play at least one season, and after a year, the Italians will have the option to buy the player's contract.

"I came here to win titles with "Roma,"" the forward said firmly. "I can promise one thing, that I will try to play my best in every game."

E. Dzeko arrived at "Man City" in 2011, when he was acquired from "Wolfsburg" for 32 million euros. Last season, the Bosnian struggled to break into the starting lineup of the "citizens," and the move to "Roma" was the main reason for his departure.

During the last season, the player from Bosnia and Herzegovina played 31 matches and scored six goals, while in the 2013-14 season, he scored 26 goals in 46 matches.
